We are a small, happy, family-owned business. Our company is guided by the principle of “The Golden Rule” - Matthew 7:12. We are currently operating out of two locations: Los Angeles, California, and Conyers, Georgia (just east of Atlanta). We offer a large variety of some of the most beautiful cold-processed soaps on the market. We like to call our soaps small pieces of useable art. They are beautiful to look at, and they are healthy for the skin as well. The natural, wholesome ingredients that are used to make our soaps will nourish and moisturize your skin.

But Dee Luxe soaps has a deeper meaning than just selling beautiful soap bars. The backbone of our company is to help make this world a better place. Our way of contributing goodness to the world is by spreading the word of God. On the inside of each one of our unique soap labels, you will find an uplifting scripture. We also donate money and products to various organizations.

We are passionate about bringing joy to others. And therefore, we give all our customers first-class treatment. If for any reason you are dissatisfied, we will work with you to make it right. If you are not happy with your order, you can return it within five days of receipt and receive a full refund. We believe that the future of our company is directly linked to making sure our customers are 100% satisfied.

Our Inspiration

My daughter, Donielle, suffers from 2 life-threatening diseases – Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), and Kidney failure. She is on many different medications, including the harsh steroid – Prednisone. Her illnesses and all her medicines caused her skin to become dry and itchy. One day I decided to surf the internet to see if I could find relief for my daughter's skin problems. An article entitled Handmade soaps versus Commercial soaps caught my eye. It said that Commercial soaps (store-bought soaps) are detergents. They have no glycerin (which is a natural moisturizer). Instead, they contain chemical hardeners, foaming agents, artificial fragrances, and are full of toxic chemicals. Yuk! "Could all those store-bought commercial soaps (that I got on sale) be contributing to my daughter's dry, itchy skin?" I wondered. The article went on to explain the benefits of handmade soaps. It said that handmade soaps have a high content of glycerin, which makes them naturally hydrating and good for the skin. They also contain rich creamy butters, like shea butter, almond butter, cocoa butter, and other natural ingredients.

I was so excited after seeing the results my daughter received, and I wanted everyone to have the same healthy experience. I began buying handmade soaps for my entire family. The vibrant colors and the intricate designs are unbelievably beautiful. They are perfect for gift giving. I now give them as gifts to friends and I even give them to strangers. It is so fulfilling to see how such a little bar of soap can put such a big smile on a person’s face. A portion of the proceeds from the business will be donated to help Donielle continue her fight against Lupus and to help maintain a healthy lifestyle so that she can protect her new kidney. Yes, Donielle prayers were answered. She had a kidney transplant on December 31, 2019 – (New Years Eve. And I, her mom, was the kidney donor)

How we operate

We do not do all the mixing and making of our beautiful soap bars. We have a small team of women who make our soaps. The reason we use several soap makers is because the power, talent and creativity of two or more people’s minds to create or come up with unique ideas is more productive than just one person on their own. Our ladies make soaps in the designs of cupcakes, ice cream cones, flowers, brilliantly colored rainbow designs, and more. Our team’s combined creativity and experience is evident in all our soaps. Our soaps are made is small batches using two different methods.

Although we are not mixing and measuring the soaps, we are hands-on and very particular when it comes to the designs and ingredients that make up our soap bars. Our family tests each bar of soap, and every bar must pass our high standards before we add it to our website.

Our Passion to Give Back

In our family circle, there are some who have been and are currently being challenged with chronic health issues, including breast cancer. We also have a member of our family who has had a heart transplant, and two others who have had a kidney transplant. And sadly, there are many women in my family, and circle of friends, including myself, who have been victims of physical and sexual abuse, including rape.

It is from the pain, fear and indignities that we have faced in our own lives that gives us the desire and passion to help others in similar situations. We have pledged to support organizations that are helping people just like us.

Our beautiful collection of awareness soaps is designed specifically to raise funds for these special organizations. For every soap bar that you purchase from this collection, 50% of your money will be donated to:
